WORST SERVICE EVER!
I have a two year old (under warranty) Hyundai i30.
I went into Robina Hyundai as I was breaking down at Gold Coast Airport (I usually go to Springwood Hyundai in Brisbane). Robina Hyundai looked at my car and said the service would be done under warranty. Two days later, I called them to ask where my car was and they said they happened to find water in my fuel and said I had contaminated fuel in the tank. It was going to be $290 to fix, even though they said nothing about it days before. I argued with them and said they said it will all be done under warranty, they argued back. I paid $290 for THEM to FIX the contaminated fuel problem, especially when they basically had my car hostage. I picked up the car the next day (4 days after the car was initially dropped in) and within 20 minutes of leaving Robina Hyundai the same problem I orginally went in with happened - rumbling engine, fluctuating acceleration, about to stall (I drive an automatic). This was while I was driving up the M1 towards Brisbane (going 110km/hr). I managed to limp the car to Springwood Hyundai. They looked at it and said that it was STILL contaminated fuel, the same problem that should have been fixed by Robina Hyundai. Springwood Hyundai said that Robina Hyundai DID NOT clean the engine or fuel filters or fuel injectors. Now water had gotten into my engine, making the problem worse, and I had to pay another $1,000. They said that Robina should have done all of that as well as part of the $290 fix, and added that if Robina had done the job right in the first place, I would not be paying another $1,000 to fix the car for the same problem. I called Hyundai head office for an entire week to argue that Robina Hyundai should be held responsible as they did a dodgy service and did not do what they should have done. Not only did they not fix the problem, they made my problem WORSE. After a week, head office said that they took it to the regional manager who said that they will not fix the problem and if I got bad service then I should take it up with Robina Hyundai as they were a franchise-ee. Robina Hyundai tried to claim it was another incident with contaminated fuel, blamed me and said that I went to the wrong petrol station (the car worked for almost 48hrs without issue after filling up at a NEW petrol station), said that they 'recommended' to me to get my contaminated fuel problem fixed (no they didn't, they said that was what caused my problem in the first place). I was without my car for 14 days! Robina Hyundai were completely rude and blamed me, did a DODGY service and did not fix my car. To get my car back from Springwood Hyundai (who have been great), I had to pay $1,000. In total, I had to pay $1,300 to fix a $290 problem (which would have been $290 if they did their job right in the first place, and Springwood Hyundai said that several times). Neither Hyundai Springwood, head office or Robina gave me a courtesy car the entire time this went down as well. I had to borrow a car from a family member while they took public transport so I could have a car to get to work. Do NOT go to this dealership. Their service was horrendous, their staff were beyond rude, and the quality was completely f**ed up horrible. After this, I will not buy a Hyundai again. Hopefully I have saved you time, money and stress. Their motto of "we look after everyone" is a cop out and a joke! Do NOT go to Robina Hyundai.

I love my new Kona, went cruising on Sunday with my friends, impressive. Michael Connel is irreplaceable, you are very lucky to have him on your team. I asked a lot of girly questions & it was not a problem for him to help. Checks up on me & my new car to see how i like it, he goes above & beyond his call of duty... Hyudai is very lucky to have him work for you... give that man a payrise....
