After being a Licensed Real Estate Associate Broker for several years I saw an amazing opportunity open up. A great building in downtown Clayton was for sale and I knew this would be the perfect spot to open my own office. Thousand Islands Realty, LLC became a reality in September of 2006. We are located in the Heart of the Thousand Islands. Specializing in waterfront, vacation homes and Military Relocations. In November of 2014 we affiliated with WEICHERT, REALTORS® to provide a superior level of service to our customers and clients. While our name changed to WEICHERT, REALTORS® - Thousand Islands Realty, I am still the owner and we remain locally owned and operated but now with greater exposure and reach. Melanie Curley went the extra mile and got my house sold. She is dedicated and knowledgeable; it was a pleasure to work with her. I lived in a area where the market was soft, but Melanie loves a challenge and she didn't let anything stop her from getting the sale made. And the buyers are ecstatic as well.

My husband and I had a unique situation with selling our home. It was the first house we’ve bought, and we got some news that led to us having to sell the home. We had only owned the home for a few months and we were turned down by another realty company, stating it was not possible to sell our home. We reached out to Melanie and she told us up front it was going to be hard to do, but not impossible. She told us that she couldn’t promise the sale of our home but, that she would try everything she could to help. She sure did that and more. Every question and concern we had, she helped answer. She made this experience as least stressful as she could. Within the first week our home was listed we had an offer, and that turned to a buyer. Melanie was so nice and caring about our home. She 100% puts her heart into her business and job. This company is not one to just make a sale, they HELP their customers to get the perfect home, or to sell their home to the best of their ability.
