I have had dealings in the past with Courtesy and never had an issue until recently.
This past December we took our vehicle into them for repairs. It took a full month to get a quote from them and after we told them to move forward with the repairs, the quote was far from complete. The original estimated time to finish it was two weeks, middle of February. I understand things don't go according to plan and with not enough mechanics, things take time. So I assumed first of March and was patient. March came around and the total for the repairs continued to grow. By the middle of March I was promised it would be done. Each week there was a new excuse and a new promise. This continued until end of April. I was told at one point at the beginning of April that the mechanic that had been working on our car was at a training and no other mechanics could work on it because they were on "priority" jobs...at this point my vehicle had been in for over three months already. I called management and they told me they would get them going on it. This continued throughout the entire last month with phone calls everyday and new excuses.
During this entire time, I was never once offered a rental or a vehicle to use. I had plans that continued to be put off because of the lack of service and now I am waiting to see if they will work with me on the bill or if they expect me to pay full price for a job that was originally supposed to take two weeks that took over four months.
After this experience I will NEVER do business with Courtesy Ford again. I understand things don't go as planned but it was a constant barrage of excuses on mechanics not being there, parts not ordered, wrong parts ordered, and not once was I offered some kind of recompense for the inconvenience.
