In my life I've been fortunate enough to buy twelve new cars, three of which have been from SCI FLEET Kedron. The experience that I've just had leaves me with nothing but contempt. The salesperson was rude and obnoxious on nearly every occasion and treated me as though he was doing me a favor selling me the car. He raised his voice on multiple occasions on the phone, due to me wanting to add or subtract equipment to the vehicle being purchased, even though the vehicle was still on the shipping dock awaiting release to the dealer. Phrases that were used were.
"You should have decided this before you signed the contract", "you keep changing your mind", "what do you want to change something else now", "there's a line of people wanting to buy this car" and "you keep changing your mind".
He complained bitterly about having to alter the entity name on the contract, yet he had my A.B.N number and should have searched for the correct entity name with a simple A.B.N search. Something that I've done on many occasions having been in business myself for 33 years. Responses to emails were made by phone, when a return email should have been received. The final insult was when I picked up the car. When showing me the touch screen and pairing my phone with the system he said, "have you got your cord here"? No, I said. He then showed me what I'd have to do later at home, to integrate the phone using the U.S.B cord. Perhaps he could have advised me by email or phone, to bring my cord, or perhaps the dealership could have cords available.
Had it not been for the fact that this was the only available car in Queensland available before the 30/6/2023, I would have told him to "shove the deal up his donkey" on the very first day that I walked into the Dealership.
I will say however that every other staff member that I dealt with were completely professional and personable.
