Heart saddening gut wrenching disappointment!!!!!!!! I recently purchased a 2022 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport GLS from Toyota Illawarra Albion Park. As I live 3 hours away the deal was done over the phone, with messages and photos. I was completely reassured I was getting a great vehicle in the best condition. I was told the dealerships buyer only sells the best! 1. The vehicle is ex-fleet which I was not told but had to figure out with looking at service records photos. But I accepted and continued with the sale as I was reassured the vehicle is in great condition. 2. I was not told the vehicle didn't come with a spare key I only found out upon delivery on tilt tray. I got in contact with salesman, said they'll try and find it with no luck. When I mentioned would Toyota Albion Park pay for a spare fob key to be cut and programmed they went quiet not replying. I haven't heard from them since. 3. I was told the the vehicle only had usual used car wear. Photos were sent of the car which did not show any issues. I asked for what sort or damage or scratches are on the car in detail with reply that the vehicle had no issues. The car has every panel chipped, some dinted, scratched and touched up with paint some chips are rusting!!! Two spots on the bonnet and roof have clear damage due to bird poop, I was not told. 4. Washer bottle hoses under bottle that connect to washer motor are split leaking water. 5. Interior rear view mirror is damaged, floppy and does not auto dim. 6. Transmission selector cover pops off, damaged. I was nearly tricked into a high percentage finance rate but went with a broker who got me a great rate. The conversations over the phone and text messages were aggressive by all involved. The only discount I got was $1000 off and free delivery to my area. And the vehicle was purchased to a similar price to most on the market. Now I'm left with a vehicle I need to complete repairs on. Also to avoid rust on a 2 year old car/clear peeling damage I'm required to get a paint respray and repairs done anyone from $4,000-$10,000, every panel!!! If Toyota Illawarra Albion Park paid some compensation in regards to repairs and paying for a fob key to be made I may be a little happier. I'm a widowed father on a one income looking after a young boy who thought a got a good deal on a great vehicle. A guy who thought I was being looked after but ultimately was pushed and tricked into buying a vehicle with defects. Yes I paid the price for not seeing the vehicle in person. But over the few days of dealing I really thought I was being told the truth. It's a lovely vehicle with other aspects of it is good but the defects of this vehicle has put a bad taste in my mouth. Just sad and disappointed. I've lost sleep and I've been stressed out thinking about all of this. Be aware of Toyota Illawarra Albion Park.
