I wish that there was a way to give this place a negative amount of stars. Here is exactly what happened to me and anybody that has any questions please feel free to contact me. I hate writing bad reviews and would rather work it out with management but the manager I spoke with thought I was insane for asking what I asked for. I looked for mr mears phone number and was unable to find it. I bought a used Ford F-150 from Alonso (not sure if I spelled that right). He did me a overall great job. Friendly and walked around with a purpose when we were trying to get a deal together. it was a very simple process due to the fact that I needed to get something done that day. Within our deal they agreed to put a leather kit in and a TV for my daughter. I agreed and shook hands on it that evening. Then to my surprise even though I agreed to purchase the vehicle the manager didn't want me to go home in it. I told them if that was the case that I would continue shopping that night and if I found something else I wasn't going to be committed to their pickup. The manager said he called mr mears and that he cleared me to take it home that night although it was against their policy. Well approximately 3 weeks later last Friday I was told they could get my pickup in to do my accessories. I told Alonso that I would have to meet him early Monday for my loaner (7:00 and hour before they opened) because I work on a rig and other people depend on me to be there for their checks. He was there at 7 and there had been no keys left out for a loaner. He apologized and I told him it was okay I would meet him that evening. He called me that evening and said that they couldn't give me a loaner the evening prior to the day my truck was worked on because their insurance didn't cover it. So we agreed to meet Tuesday morning. Tuesday morning I get a text saying that I was just going have to drop my pickup off at 8 oclock because management wouldn't allow me to get the loaner earlier. So I called up to speak with management. I can't remember his name now although I asked for it. Anyway he informed me that I was just going to have to be off for a day in order to drop it off at 8 and be in a loaner for 4-5 hours then drop it off when they were through with my pickup. I told him that I couldn't do that and that I was never in town during business hours he said exactly business hours you won't get mad at Dillard's for not opening after 10 o'clock and I said I can guarantee you that if I spend 30 thousand dollars in Dillard's they would open up and he said that nobody would care if I spent 30 thousand dollars. I told him I was very upset and couldn't believe they couldn't find some way to work with me and that I had a friend at gene messer but that I wanted to keep my money local instead of going to a Fortune 500 company (group one auto) he laughed and said that gene messer was local (funny somebody in that industry isn't more informed) but hell maybe mears has been bought out also I haven't done my research. I told him I would be writing them a bad review and he said they were just following they're standard procedure and that if I wanted to write a bad review on my salesman that was fine. I will never return there except for my free car washes I get just so I can help run up their water bill or use their water pump if they have their own well. Maybe I'm crazy but I'm not happy to say in the least. I encourage every one to call any other dealership in town and see if they would be willing to stay late or get there a little early to help you out. I asked them to just cut me a check for the accessories since they couldn't find a way to work with me and he said okay anything you want sir very sarcastically. Side note. The finance guy and salesman both did bang up jobs for me. I feel sorry for the salesmen there because from what I can tell they appear to be crippled by management. I work on a rig during the day and on my family farm on the weekends. I suppose I am the asshole for not being more available during business hours. Lol. I have texts and people that listened to all of these conversations I wrote about on here.
