The truck I selected was on the back lot and had not been prepped for sale, it had numerous problems that I discussed with the salesperson before I would agree to proceed with the purchasing process. As an uninformed consumer was unaware of the law stating that 'a signed contract combined with possession of the vehicle' that is, leaving the premises with the vehicle supposedly absolves the dealership of any responsibility or agreements made prior to the sale. The did repair the mechanical problems that would have made them liable, but nothing else that concerning the verbal agreement. And now 2 of the mechanical issues have presented themselves again after only two days. I guess I will be required to hire an attorney.
