This review comes in at only 3 stars overall because of the behavior of the sales manager. As any customer buying a used car I am limited to availability and generally without a warranty so I really need to be comfortable with the price. After having extended my acceptable offer above what I thought was reasonable for this car I thought better and stuck with my initial maximum price. The sales manager came to the salesman’s office door, introduced himself and basically said in an angry aggressive demeanor ‘buy the car at his price or get out’. He then carried the conversation out onto the sales floor remaining mostly angry. I apologized repeatedly as I did not intend to provoke anybody and the salesperson, Mark was great. It was an embarrassing encounter to say the least. I don’t recall dealing with this man two years ago when I purchased a different car from your dealership. That experience was great!
Tom Morgan is the only reason I used Bobby Rahal. He was exceptional throughout the entire process of ordering the car, communication throughout and final facilitation of the visit. My biggest disappointment was fact the BMW app was not working and screwed up the entire experience and told I may have to wait until after Christmas to get my car (after already waiting two weeks to get winter wheel set delivered and installed, and after starting the application process way back in Oct) My car was then pulled outside in the rain while the tech guy seemed to do an abbreviated review of the features while I sat in the passenger side. He seemed very uninterested and dispassionate. After going through the manuals myself when I got home there was a lot of things he missed and did not explain clearly. One example? The gesture motion is controlled from the cars ceiling (not the dash as implied by him) and has to be made one full rotation and on the second the car recognizes and implements the motion. He never explained that which now it makes sense why it didn’t seem to work that well until I learned this) That is just one example. And I actually was looking forward to getting a photo standing beside my new car which never happened vs a pathetic one of me leaving your parking lot.
