Unfortunately, after the purchase of the car it was all downhill...
When I came to collect my Hyundai Sante Fe Highlander in mid December, there was a dent on the rear door and even though I was promised a full tank of diesel it was only 1/4 full. They agreed to fix the dent, and told me it would be done at the first service which I should book in a few weeks. I booked this service in and advised them about the dent requiring repair. I then also received an email regarding a recall on my car regarding the rear curtain airbag fault, which is right next to my 2 year old car seat. When I brought my car in for the service, dent repair and recall they advised me that they can't fix the dent today, they still didn't fill the tank as per the handover comments, no my car doesn't need a service and that although my car does need a part replaced for the recall they don't have parts and it will be weeks.
I also discovered that the recall was issued the 6th Nov, yet I purchased my car in mid December - so why this car was sold to me knowing it had a fault (and not telling me), and why it wasn't fixed prior is beyond me. I have called another Hyundai dealer who have organised the part after Essendon were unable to help any further.
On top of all of this, all of the documentation and details of the care/warranty etc for the Protektiv package (which I spent $2000 on) was not included... when I asked them for it they said they forgot and would mail it out to me... still have not received anything from them and have sent them 2 emails.

Just had my i30 SR serviced (20,000km) at Essendon Hyundai on Thursday night (very convenient), and found Craig in the service department to be outstanding in his customer service e.g. Appearance, Personal presentation, Attitude, Knowledge, Friendliness, Courtesy. Also the ‘waiting area’ was very comfortable, with windows facing into the service department so you can see the technicians working on your car. Purchased my i30 SR in March 2018 from Aaron, and so far found no faults with the car, 150kW of power and a load of standard features for the price, well-sorted dual-clutch, and dynamic poise blended with ride comfort – what more could you ask for in a ‘hot hatch’!

I am writing this because I came to look for an SUV and was approached by a person called Aaron but not straight away a little while after and he said "What's up?" which I felt was not appropriate as I am not a friend of his but a customer. He really could not be bothered to help me much maybe coz I am a woman and he thinks I will not care for details. He left me and I had a look around and didn't find anything I liked and felt really uncomfortable. So I saw Honda across the road and decided to go check it out and hey presto I bought a car from there. Please treat all your customers with respect coz you really never know who they are and they could very well be a big customer.

Absolutely gutted.I am sick of their false promises and unresponsiveness.I was told that they have to order a part for my hyundai genesis,so they need to wait for approval from warranty department,but after calling many times,no one returned my call.So after three weeks,i was told that we have to return to service department with car,so we can sign documents.i asked if it can be done via email,but they said no.So,after waiting for three weeks,my driver went there with car,but they didnt even look at car and gave him a form to fill in and send it through email.it wasted three weeks of my business and yet i dont know what wil happen next.so i called to make a complaint but noone will listen to you,i called showroom,but they wont take it and transfer your call to service department,who cant be bothered to answer your call.Prior to this,my driver had to return three times for same problem and even tehn they ordered a part from korea which was never true.

I have visited the Hyundai Essendon dealership aiming to check and buy Hyundai SUV (Tucson or similar)for my daughter. I haven’t driven this model of Hyundai before but was considering the purchase due to very good reviews of the car.
Unfortunately, the good intention and aim from my end hit a “brick wall” of this dealership customer service. The sales staff approach was arrogant from the moment when we arrived at the yard. This was reflected by their ignorance though it was clear that they weren’t busy since two sales consultants were chatting between themselves and ignoring us until we asked for service. When we asked about the test drive the comment from the sales person (sorry didn’t have his name) was “Can you afford it?” in very much judgmental tone. I asked to be introduced to his manager expecting to continue discussion with someone with more authority and less judgmental attitude and hopefully arrange a test drive and the intended purchase.
However their negativity towards my queries about the process and customer services further escalated by a gentleman who was introduced to me as the Sales Manager David Odisho. I felt that his approach was extremely arrogant on a level of nearly racist in the meaning - Why have we visited their sales yard at all? Towards the end of our conversation he stated “Actually I am not going to complete any sales with you!” I was shocked by his statement and did ask for his business card then but he refused to produce it.
Overall this is the most unpleasant experience and the most disgusting attitude by sales staff I felt over the last 18 years I have been in Australia. This has made me to write this review thinking that my feedback may help you to review your customer service but for me this is the dealership I am not going to visit again and would not recommend to anyone.
By the way comments on your website look very much tailored by “friends and family” (including photos).Are you intending to post a photo of an unhappy customers like me.
