Be careful with Erick. I test drove a Premium Subaru Impreza. It had a push start, satellite radio, etc. Erick told me the next step down was the same car, just no push start, satellite radio, etc. A few minor things I wasn't looking for. He left me test drive a loaner car that he stated "was the exact same car" I was looking to buy. I loved it. So, I agreed to buy the exact same car as the loaner. However, when I went to pick up my car, it was NOT similar to the car I test drove. The dash is analog instead of digital, there's no blind spot warning on the side mirrors. It does start with a key like he said. When I protested it wasn't my car, he informed me that's what I was paying for. If I wanted what I test drove, it would be several thousand more dollars. I was so pissed! Next time I buy a car, I'm recording what's being said! Erick is a liar!!! It's been 2 years and I'm still upset about his sneaky underhand behavior!! No apology. Nothing was received from him nor the dealership. So, I'll continue to tell my bad experience. Stay away!!
They call Tuesday morning (after leaving this review) and say they will overnight the manual to me. Its now Thursday night--no manual. I know they have my address and what make and model vehicle I bought. Or cant they find out from the bank that paid them what my address is? I know where I work, if a client doesnt have something that they should, its our fault. Even if we have to check another system to find more information, we go that extra mile. Faulkner still cant get me a manual and Im coming up on 1 year of ownership.
My car was sold without an owner's manual. We bought it in September 2017. We still dont have one. They said they would mail it when it came in stock. Sometime around November, my dad drove up there (we live an hour away) and picked it up. It was for the wrong year, which was enough of a difference that it isnt that useful. I called a number of times and was told it would be mailed. I called again two weeks ago and was told there was one in stock--did I want to come pick it up? I said it was agreed upon originally that it would mailed to me. They said they would mail it. I have now resorted to leaving this review in order to try and get the correct owners manual. They are very eager to sell the vehicle (I bought it out from under someone else you was scheduled to come and test drive it by about an hour) and now I find that even a small task such as mailing an owner's manual is extremely difficult for them. I cant imagine what their maintenance services are like. Thankfully, we don't live close enough to get our vehicle serviced there.
We we're leaving for vacation to chincoteague in one week when head gaskets blew. Service got car in without an appt. Got repairs all done in couple days. Been to Chincoteague and back. No problems. Great vacation!
Faulkner Subaru of Mechanicsburg is full of rock stars! From Saige in the Sales Dept who beat the Apple's deal in York by $3000 (and the sad part is that I was an Apple employee at the time), to Jeff in Service who went above and beyond to exceed my expectations when my daughters car needed repaired, to Mechanic Mike who performed the top notch repairs -- these guys are all awesome! If you need a new or used car, go see Saige. Talk to Jeff when it comes time for service, you won't be sorry. There should be a Subaru in everyone's garage (I have 3!). Subaru customer for life!
This past weekend I located a used 1997 Lincoln @ your location thru CarGurus. Left inquiry thru CarGurus Sunday afternoon.
Received email reply from Erik Baily early Sunday evening and another from Molly Shea shortly thereafter.
Erik then phoned me around 11:30 this morning to answer any questions I might have.
I live in Indianapolis so I told Erik I would arrange to have my
brother-in-law, who lives on the east shore, contact him to arrange an inspection visit.
An hour later Erik called again to tell me that when they brought in the car to "spruce" it up the "Check Engine" light was on. Further investigation revealed serious engine problems. Erik went on to tell me that you will not be selling that car from your dealership but will be taking it to Auction.
I'm impressed with Erik's & Molly's prompt responses to my inquiry thru CarGurus and with Erik's call this morning. I especially appreciated
Erik's follow up call about problems with the car. That call saved me the time of arranging my brother-in-law's visit and possibly me traveling from Indianapolis to inspect the car.
Kudos to Erik & Molly for their outstanding attention.
Based on this experience I will tell family and friends in your area about your prompt and thorough response to my inquiry.
BTW: This was my first experience with CarGurus. Their website is thorough and easy to navigate. Lots of listings, even for such obscure cars as 1997 Lincoln Town Cars.
It's also impressive that they forwarded my inquiry to you so promptly.
