I like to compliment Freeway Toyota at Hansford. I had gone there for repair of my Prius they did excellent service out of the way to find out that it was covered under the warranty. Service Manager Mr. Edgar Sanchez was really awesome in helping me get that. Another dealership declined the same, Service manager this extra effort to reach out to Toyota is commendable customer service. For sure Freeway Toyota is best in the Central Valley even Los Angeles.

Subsequently, I got service done there, the best part was the service manager would personally ensure quality customer service.

Service department needs a lot of work to get it up to par with the sales department. Purchased my truck brand new here. It was a great experience buying and never had any problems. Ruben my salesman was very pleasant to work with. Got me a deal I could live with. When buying the vehicle I opted to purchase the dealers car doc service package. When scheduling the first service I requested the transmission fluid get checked due to a weird feel during the truck shifting. Was told by Mike Hathaway, that in my truck you cannot check the fluid level and that if there was an issue there is sensors that would tell me it was low.
During the 10k mile service I requested that they look into my gauge cluster due to the needles “tick-tock” movement. They took the truck and had a tech drive it but came back saying nothing was wrong. I opened a case with Toyota due to there not being a TSB for the gauge cluster. So I provided them nice GoPro videos of what was happening and they still wouldn’t do anything. I also asked again for the transmission fluid to be checked and again Mike Hathaway told me you can’t check it and refused to put it on the work request.
During the 15k mile service I requested and alignment to go with my car doc service package. They informed me I needed to pay for this, which I did. Then I again requested that they check my transmission. The service manager David Santos and he met my request with no issues and had them check the fluid level. After they checked it they found the fluid level to be 1.5 quarts low. With the alignment they did the truck did not drive straight and the wheel was not level. With that i did not receive me an alignment sheet to show what they set it to.
During the 20k mile service I requested an alignment due to the truck not driving straight and the wheel being off. They took the truck, but when I got it back I immediately noticed that the steering again wasn’t straight and the truck didn’t drive straight. I took the truck back immediately and they offered to fix it first thing in the morning. When I got home I decided to look at the truck myself and found that the tie rod steering linkage was physically loose. So during the Multi point inspection they said they checked all the steering components and adjusted the tie rods without noticing the rod was loose. When I went in to have the alignment fixed again, I mentioned it to the GM. While I was talking to the GM the tech Ruben got an attitude and started telling me that it wasn’t his responsibility even though he signed a sheet saying it was good. After they fixed the alignment and I finished talking to the GM they didn’t give me a alignment sheet again and refused to answer any questions I had.
Overall I wouldn’t trust the service department to stick to their word and DO NOT TRUST THEIR WORK. I would recommend getting service done at another dealership.
