From the first visit to your dealership I was impressed by the approach of your salesman Jimmy Berry, he set the tone for making buying a car easy, I got a good deal and at every stage found your staff second to none. Driving to work one day, the engine lights appeared on my 2014 CX5 Akera. I called Grand Prix Mazda Aspley, who were able to accommodate me straight away (HAPPY FACE 1) and had their service department take the car for assessment. They ordered me a lovely barista coffee (HAPPY FACE 2) then drove me to work (HAPPY FACE 3). The car was assessed and returned to me later that afternoon with no fault being diagnosed (HAPPY FACE 4). Unfortunately, the same thing occurred on the way to work the next day (SAD FACE 1), and again Mazda Aspley were faultless in arranging for me to bring the car straight in to be assessed (HAPPY FACE 5) – more coffee supplied (HAPPY FACE 6).
My lease was approaching expiry within 6 months, so I decided to have a look around the new car show room while the service department assessed the car. Two hours later, I walked out of the show room having signed a great deal on a new CX5 (HAPPY FACE 7), and learned that Mazda could even sort out finalising my existing finance and organising the new finance through their association with Macquarie Leasing (HAPPY FACE 8).
The service department organised to drive me home (HAPPY FACE 9) with coffee (HAPPY FACE 10). The bad news later in the day was that my 4.5 year old CX5 needed a new turbo, and was out of warranty (SAD FACE 2). With barely a breath drawn, the service department advised that Grand Prix Mazda’s management had approved a request for Mazda Australia to repair the turbo under warranty (HAPPY FACE 11 x 1000000), and would provide me with a brand new CX5 loan car until the repairs were carried out (HAPPY FACE 12). A couple of days later, service called to advise that the new parts would not arrive before the change-over to my new car and that I could keep the loan car until then (HAPPY FACE 13).
On changeover day, I had a lovely unveiling ceremony (HAPPY FACE 14) and the personalised plates from my old CX5 had even been fitted to my new car (HAPPY FACE 15).
To Tammie, Phil, Hannah, Rebekah and staff at Grand Prix Mazda Aspley, I cannot thank you enough for the experience. This is my 4th Mazda, and will not be the last – you have a life-long customer!
(My only complaint is that now my face hurts from all this smiling :-)
