My husband and I have had the absolute worst experience with this company's service department and would never recommend them to friends or loved ones. After submitting a BBB claim that was left unresolved, we find that they do not care about their customers and do not own up to being incorrect or causing problems to vehicles. We took our car there for a recall repair only (no previous problems with it) and 2 hours after we drove off their lot, broke down in the middle of traffic, not once but twice. We took our car back there thinking they would check it out and see what had happened, and they repeatedly gave us false information and without even looking at the car told us it was the battery. After purchasing a $120 battery per their advice, 2 days later we broke down in rush hour traffic yet again. We went back to Hart yet again to have our car looked at this time. They looked at the car over the next few days and first told us our TPS switch was bad and would cost $450 to repair. We were absolutely not happy with that answer as we had NO issues with our car before bringing it in to them for a recall repair. The very next day, we were told by Brian at the front desk that it was not our TPS switch it was our Alternator and it would cost $346. So, first we were told it was the battery $120 and 2 days later it was NOT. Then the TPS switch that would have cost $450 then we would have had to turn around and pay ANOTHER $346 to fix the alternator because the TPS information was also not true! The guy behind the desk had to go tell the mechanics what to look for?? Because all they did was put it on the computer and never actually looked at the car. We were forced to have our alternator repaired there because our car was not running. So, here we are $446 later after a free recall repair. They don't care about their customers and the service staff is incredibly rude. I would never go back there. I'll drive 40 minutes to Shelor before I ever take another car to Hart Motor. I would also never purchase a car there because of our terrible experience. I would advise anyone to go elsewhere to have their vehicle serviced.
