I just took my 2016 civic to get serviced and was told I would just need an oil change, free tire rotation, air filter change, and break fluid topped off, by Collin Elliot. I told him that I had no clue what any of the maintenance meant and that I did not want to spend a lot and asked for the $49.99 special package to cover the oil change, tire rotation, and filter change. After 2 hours I came back to a bill almost $600, $300 in labor charges for TWO HOURS. I expected to receive an estimate before I left and never got one. When my fiancé called to ask why it was so much, all they said was that I knew the estimate before the work was done, which is a lie. What I saw was a paragraph about the authorizing repairs, and the signature box, but never saw any numbers. I will never bring my vehicle back to THIS Honda dealership. I’ve never had this issue with any other Honda dealership and service department.
UPDATE: Went back and talked with multiple service managers and was told footage was already pulled that showed everything was rendered appropriately and that nothing was going to be done to fix the situation. Poor service after the sale and as mentioned before, we will NEVER be back to this dealership nor will ever refer another person to this dealership.
