We got our car within 48 hours of deciding to buy it, with window tinting and extra accessories put on. Sales people were fantastic, not pushy at all. Only reason for four stars on delivery is because we had an appointment booked and didn’t get in until about 40 minutes after our booked time. However, overall, an excellent experience. We love our new car.
I was very surprised with the high standard and curtesy and friendly help shown by the sale representative (Des Ruane). I would recommend him and John Hughes to anyone contemplating buying a new motor vehicle.
I can't thank Chris Belke enough for all the time and effort he put into the buying of my new Hyundai Tuscon. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he was always polite and patient, he explained everything so clearly and was very professional.

Not a very enjoyable experience. Salesperson became quite upset, aggressive and sulky when I mentioned I was getting prices from other dealers. He was astounded that I wasn’t solely a John Hughes customer and spent the whole time calling me the wrong name. After negotiations completed and promising a full tank of fuel, Lo and behold when my wife picked up the car only with only half a tank, taking advantage of her good nature as she wouldn’t complain. Very underwhelming experience and will definitely not be going back.
My wife and I were very happy with Des Ruane and the sales team on previous occasions, when we went through him to buy my mother inlaw’s Getz and my wife’s 2012 i30. We didn’t hesitate to ask for him when we returned to purchase a 2017 i30 for my wife an a 2017 Santa Fe Hylander for myself. He gave us the same friendly service and assIstance we’re used to from him. We would recommend Des and John Hughes to anyone looking for a new car.
