We finally purchased our Jeep Wrangler after stopping several times. Each time Doug Pape was patient, allowing us to test drive multiple times, until we made the decision to buy it. He made a fair trade-in offer and the price of the new vehicle was in line. The purchase was completed and we were out the door. The next day we returned to finalize paperwork and finances with Todd, who was also pleasant to work with. On a side note, the Wrangler we purchased included both a hard and soft top. When we got home we realized that all the parts were not there for the soft top. After contacting Doug the next morning, he apologized and told us to come back to the store where a brand new soft top was waiting for us. We appreciate him going the extra mile to make sure that we were totally happy with our purchase.
I just experienced some of the worst customer service at this dealership. I called more then a week ago to set up a test drive and they kept delaying it. I finally got an appointment today at noon and I was notified at 1145 as I’m driving to Sauk from Madison that the car had just been sold. I was told “that’s the car business “ and I don’t think that’s a good excuse for bad customer relations. The car was sitting on the lot for 4 months and 15 mins before I’m suppose to see it it gets SOLD. I will not recommended this place to anyone. I was working with Zak and if he was too busy this week to help me he should have set me up with another person.
New car. At closing, the finance person, Steve, told me that the preapproved loan at Summit had been denied. I asked again, he state emphatically again that I had been denied. When I go home, Summit had called and said ready to cut the check. Called Summit to learn that Steve did not call and that they had never said I was not approved. Turns out the higher interest rate Steve used provides a kickback to Kayser/Steve. So is a game to line their own pockets.Had the financing reversed and loan at Summit initialized. But on the way home, Check Engine light came on. Called Kayser. They said would be there first thing next day. They were not prompt. Arrived only after I called again the next day and complained that I would not drive it with Check Engine light on. Came, found nothing, reset light, test drove, left. I drove it 1.2 miles, light comes back on. Drove home parked in driveway. Called next day. Said would pick up on a flat bed and take to shop. Came and DROVE it to the shop, Said it passed multiple tests but found "a broken wire". Drove it back to my residence and left, no paperwork or documentation. I called and asked for all the repairs on this vehicle. Found out that this was not the first time it had these issues. Other problems as well. A new vehicle on the lot! And I found multiple dents/dings from the inside going out, even though this cargo van was paneled. So how did these occur???? And 2 thousand dollar estimate to have fixed at the local body shop. They have given me a 30 day return option. Am doing so tomorrow, 7/19/2018. Will see what other tricks they are going to try. Go somewhere else and arrange your own financing! Wave at them as you pass them by!
Salesman, Justin, did everything as expected, followed through a bit slowly but adequately. When it came time to deal with Kayser Finance Department, however, watch out!! Steve fraudulent mis stated my contact with Summit CU and their prior approval for financing. When questioned, Steve emphatically stated that Summit would NOT loan the money. So we were coerced into Kayser financing through Citizen at a much higher rate. When I returned to work, my Summit representative called to arrange for finalize the loan. Jim from Summit stated that Steve most likely was receiving a kick back by marking up the rate through Citizen, something Summit will NOT permit. He said he would arrange a 1.25% lower rate loan, buy out Citizen, and get me back on track, since Steve had manipulated the sale to Kayser advantage with fraudulent information. DO NOT let Steve interfere with your life. Arrange you loan directly with your financial institution of your choice. It will take a little long and waste a bit of your time, but will save you BIG dollars in the end.
Many thanks to Kayser Chrysler! Chris from Internet sales introduced me to Ryan and what great job he did! I spent 25 years in Dodge trucks as a union tradesman, and after 5 of them Ryan helped me pick out the perfect retirement truck! I knew as soon as I meet him he was selling me a truck! I worked with Steve in financing, again a very nice person in what seemed to be a seamless process and Ryan had my new Ram 1500 Harvest, pearl coat blue, was my first brand new truck!! Aaron in Service got my truck in for the Enviromental coating and I noticed when I got the truck back they had cleaned my old floor mats to brand new condition! I would recommend Kayser to anyone looking for a great vehicle and great service! Thank you Kayser!
No Hassle!!! After reviewing several makes of SUV's I decided on a Dodge Durango. Zak Smith made the buying experience very pleasurable. No hassle, no pressure, and we feel like we got the best deal possible! Zak had everything ready to go for a very smooth, quick and easy transaction. Thanks Zak!!!
I went to the dealer not sure of if I find what I was looking for, was greeted by Mike DeVries , and right off he made me feel at ease. He was top notch and professional and we got business done in an hour and a half, and I was out the door with my new used vehicle . They all were very accommodating and interested in wants and needs, I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a purchase.
