I made a deal with the salesman on a vehicle. I applied for financing and was approved but decided to take money from my investments rather than financing it. The check was to be overnighted. The salesman said to just give them a credit card to hold the vehicle. I even ordered a part for the vehicle. I was to pick it up the next day. Salesman pulled the van off the lot and clean it up. I went and got insurance and then called to let them know what time I was coming. The owner said basically too bad we are selling it to someone else right now. The salesman had not charged anything to the credit card so the owner said he could sell it to anybody he wanted to. Sounds pretty shady to me especially when it is the owner conducting business that way!!!
My dad went to the dealership and made a deal on a vehicle. He decided to get money from his Edward Jones rather than financing. The check was being sent the next day and they were to go pick the vehicle up before closing the same day.The slsalesman took his credit card to hold the vehicle. He even had them order a part for it. He called to ask them something a few minutes after all that and they were in the process of selling the van to someone else. JR KING (man in charge of the place) said I 'm sorry you feel angry but too bad.
The salesman had taken credit card info to hold the vehicle but had not charged anything to it. The van had been pulled off the lot and cleaned up for my dad. JR KING apparently had one of his buddies that wanted to buy it today and he decided to pull this stunt. NEVER EVER TRUST KING in VALLEY ALABAMA. If the owner would pull this stunt no telling what he might do to you and then the way JR KING talked to my dad is unforgivable. The other workers agreed it was not right what was done to him but apparently there is a shady owner there.
