Had the worst experience ever! Came over from SA to check out a car, had to go through Mario who was absolutely horrible to my partner and I.
We had a few concerns about the vehicle (moisture in rear tail light, stained seats, damage to rear right bumper and sensor, paint spill in tray and rear bumper and a broken light bar - ALL of which was not disclosed to us before travelling all the way to Melbourne!!). We tried to be reasonable, understanding the general wear and tear with age and that a lot of the accessories were aftermarket/non-genuine ford. Still leaves no excuse to be treated as we were.
The number plate lights were broken which is technically a defect to the car, he refused to fix them and with everything we asked it was too hard for him. Hardly knew about the car at all, couldn’t even tell us what a few random additional features were. After A LOT of fighting to at least fix the number plate lights (which was a simple globe change), he finally cooperated, and discounted $200 off for all the issues stated above - he tried to get out of this at the last second also. He also stated we were attacking him when we brought the above issues to his attention!!
Buying a car should be a happy and exciting experience, however this was a disgusting experience and lacked any form of customer service. Pains me that this guy now gets the commission!! Tried to speak to the manager but Mario intercepted our efforts.
EDIT: Got home to SA and took it through roadworthy inspection, got defected immediately!! Thanks so much for selling us a defected car. Such a great first experience buying a car!!
They are no refusing to compensate us with anything - all they are willing to do is put the car back to stock standard and not even let us keep the original parts sold on the car!
