Have been browsing Ford dealers looking for a good used Escape, preferably the 2012 with low miles and for a good price. Found it at LB Smith, sent an email about the car online, went to see it and closed the deal. However, this is where my years of car buying both new and used cars was ramped up at this dealership: I have never, ever had ALL of the details taken care of by ONE person so that upon returning home, all I had to do was enjoy the car. From calling my insurance company and switching the car insurance from my old vehicle that I had just traded in, to putting my entrance code in the car's system and switching on Sirius, to a full tank of gas to my first free oil change, buying this car at this dealership has made me a life long fan. There was nothing I needed to do when I returned home other than pack it up for a trip to my family on Christmas Day. I had also purchased the extended warranty as well as the car's interior and exterior protection and had to take it back so the service department could apply it. This is where they missed a step, all of the owners of the newer cars had a person take them out to their cars which were parked right outside of the door and were gone over with an employee. When we picked up our Escape, we were told to go to a certain parking space with a number on it to get our car, however, the car wasn't left in that spot and we had to search for our car. That made me a little disappointed that our purchase of an older car didn't give us the same treatment as those picking up their newer cars, thus the reason for the 4 stars in Service Dept satisfaction.
However we have used their service department to service another Ford that we own and they have been satisfactory with that vehicles upkeep. Other than that, I would recommend this dealership very highly for anyone who wants to truly experience what buying (even a used car) is really all about.
