I had a state inspection done on my Acura RDX on Wednesday, June 5. After a ridiculously long wait and a bogus upsell on a pair of windshield wipers I "needed" to pass inspection, I left irritated at the price and the wait but glad it was completed for the year. I had an appointment with Baierl Acura Wexford but canceled in hopes of saving time getting it done close to the city. By June 10, I was sitting in the Baierl Acura Wexford service center, waiting on my transmission to be flushed, and was shown also both front and rear differential fluids and break fluid were burned completely black. Had I left for my previously scheduled 2-week work roadtrip without a visit to my faithful Acura dealer, I would have blown my transmission, or much worse. My Acura service provider was horrified by the fact that my car passed inspection a mere five days prior, showed me the fluids and said they should have been checked/easy to spot because of how badly burned. I expected far better from your dealership, in both speed and quality of service. I have always believed the Mercedes is only a label for people to drive, all flashy distractions with little internal substance. It is sad to find your Mercedes service center is the same. You could not pay me enough money to bring my car back there.
I purchased my vehicle about 2 years ago. The customer service was great and everyone was very friendly. My issue is not with the customer service but moreso the vehicle itself. This is my second vehicle purchased from this dealership and the second time around has been a complete nightmare. I have had more issues with this car; fortunately, everything was under warranty; however, it is still an unpleasant experience to pay for a car you can't drive.
1. My steering wheel was faulty causing 5 lacerations on my right hand
2. I had a leak from the sunroom that took a little over 2 months to fix due to electrical damage and other issues i didn't clearly understand.
3. I am having trouble with my navigation in which it blacks out and does not display the map. This is the second time i have placed my car in the shop for this issue. The second time the dealership was unable to fix the issue in time due to the timing of my relocation out of state.
4. Today i noticed when I start my car the engine putters and the entire car shakes.
I am not satisfied with this vehicle at all and i am questioning the quality of the vehicle. I am very upset that i have had these many issues with a 2012 vehicle. At this point i am wondering if i should perhaps trade this car in or get rid of it completely, either way i am stuck and unhappy.
Fortunately, the employees of Bobby Rahal are very helpful and provide excellent customer service.
The people in service or excellent and very helpful. I always enjoy coming into service. sometimes I just stop in to say hello to the friendly staff. Everyone especially Lee and April make me feel special every time I come in. Ted z. do a wonderful job of satisfying my questions and concerns as well as Russ Lucas. Thank you a wonderful job.
