Sher was great! She was responsive and friendly. I'd buy from her again
And recommend her
The finance guy was great too. No pressure get it done. Quick and as
Painless as buying a $100k+ RV can be.
The service guys trying to fix our small issues, really jumped in.
The guy that did the walkthru had multiple areas where he had no knowledge of how the unit worked. Alde seemed foreign to him. He thought we had propane for a moment, we don't. The 2nd house battery is not inaccessible under the chassi. He was a nice guy, was
Pleasant and clearly had rV knowledge and experience. But Roadtreks don't seem to be his forte.
Plus the score card at the end of the walk thru should not be done in the presence of, or give directly back to, those you are grading. You do not get an honest evaluation. You should consider changing this portion of the process.
Lyla was awesome and delightful during the entire sales process. Felt she cared about getting us into the right motorhome at a good value. Kevin was terrific in showing us the different models to choose from in our price bracket.
I will definitely recommend Mike Thompson's RV to my friends and family. Thanks again guys!
My overall experience at Mike Thompson's has been terrible. We purchased our pop tent trailer at the end of April. Our sales person wasn't there for the walk thru and repairs needed to be done and the trailer was dirty. Mind you it's brand new. After an overnight stay we discovered lots of work needed to be done. Our trailer has lived it's majority of it's brand new ownership at Mike Thompson's Service. We have been making payments on it as well as paying for a storage unit that has gone unused. We have had to cancel trips. Our last drop off service date was June 8th. It's still there and the service work is not completed for a pick up that should have happened today. Sadly we had a friend buy a pop tent trailer after us (used) and they had a 5 star experience.
We bought an 06 Monaco. Made it very clear we were going full time. Quit our jobs, traded my car in the deal, on the assurance that this coach was safety tested and all systems worked. We made it 109 miles and the transmission went out. There was MUD in my fresh water tank. Stranded for over 7 hours. Staff was super accommodating during the crisis. Made me all kinds of promises to make it right. Next morning, not so much. Or at all. In fact, we were blown off and threatened. Our condo is leased and we have no place to live and no one cares. We are delayed a MINIMUM of 3 weeks, probably six while it goes to a real repair shop. Not that we'll ever really trust it now.... and we're both disabled and have PTSD, so this is a much bigger deal for us than the average person.
We left it to be gone over for more than a week after signing the contract to have everything taken care of. Nothing was done...AND one of my storage doors was hit while it was in your facility. AND the tow truck driver backed it into a tree, destroying the ladder and the paint.
This has been a staggeringly traumatic experience in every single way.
From Our sales guy to the finance guy everyone was very nice and knowledgeable, no one was pushy and they made you feel like family. We were proud to purchase our first trailer with them and will continue coming back to them for anything we need .
