APPALLING SERVICE DEPT & CUSTOMER SERVICE! "Helpful Honda" my ass. Bought a 2019 Fit from these guys & the side view mirror casing fell off. They refused to replace it - despite having a bumper-to-bumper warranty - trying to say that this is not covered because it is on the exterior of the car. I made multiple calls to Jess (the only girl in the service dept), who told me to bring the car on Sat @ 1pm & she will have someone look at it to determine if it would be covered. I show up there, as requested, & she gets a deer in the headlights look, acting like we never talked! She then declines to assist me, passing the buck to sales. I talk with the sales mgr & he refuses to honor the warranty saying that it won't be covered because it is not supposed to fall off! Really?? That's exactly why it SHOULD be covered - because it fell off when it wasn't supposed to! I, sadly, had already referred a friend to Mossy & he bought a 2019 Fit from them too. Despite my telling them this, the sales mgr said "Tell that to the service dept. Maybe they'll give you a discount." I said I don't want a discount. I want this defective item replaced for free per warranty. He refused. Needless to say, Mossy has now lost 2 customers, because I told my friend, and neither of us will ever be bringing our cars to them again. And we will never recommend Mossy to anybody.
I was able to purchase my first car here and they were so amazing in working something out with me as well. Vanessa was amazing in guiding us through the whole process and she also made it quick as possible for us. If you go here to purchase your car I recommend to request Vanessa, definitely will be purchasing my next car here again. I also loved how Frank Tofan the finance manager was even able to get my brother hooked up with some warranties and he didn’t even purchase his car here. They were able to establish new long time customers now with the amazing service they both gave.
So sorry to review this in this manner but we were given a very inexperienced sales person outright. Why? not sure. We were initially quoted $500 off for Veterans and $500 for something else. When the deal was almost done and signed the sales price did not include the nonmentioned "extras" the car had which were highly over-price. Then they backed off on the one $500 reduction, said only one would apply. On buying of our old car they said they'd pay for the title to be transfered, then they tried to charge us for it. Then they tried to pay us $250 less than the quoted price. Then they insisted that before we could pay the new car outright we'd have to apply for a loan then pay it off. Then they sold our loan to Honda Financial services which charged us $96 more to send us the bill. No. Sorry I won't recommend them to buy a Honda there. I love my Hondas but not to buy there.
Vanessa was my salesperson. She was so helpful and sincere. She was not pushy, just helped me find what was best for me and I took a lot of her time. After she sold me the car, Franz the finance man helped us get approved. He worked very hard for us and answered all of our questions. He spent a lot of time finding the best financing options. Very creative and smart. They are awesome people. Wold love to go to lunch with them.
So happy i went to this dealer. Tom youngblood helped me alot to get me the car and color i want(2018honda civic Si sedan(lunar silver metalic). I Definitely recommended honda lemon grove to anyone. Horrible experience with these workers!! tried to rip me off telling me parts were not covered under warranty when they were. They had my car for two days and didnt offer me a rental car. I tried calling to get an update on the car repaur which was supposed to be a 2 hr job and took all day. They didnt begin working on the car until after i arrived back at the dealership. I got there and there was like 6 guys standing there talking and they quickly drove off in my car. Spoke with manager and he wasnt much help either. Just came to firestone to replace 2 front tires and they said the axle was broken again the clamp came off when they had just replaced it. Now im going to have to take it back and also they replaced my airbag because of a recall and now where the airbag goes keeps rattling. Horrible experience would not recommend!!
Marcelino is hands down one of the best staff members I've encountered at any dealership. He went above and beyond to make sure my civic was repaired in a timely manner and made sure to give me updates along the way. Mossy Honda good on you for hiring a guy like him!
Really bad purchase experience!
Paid for a brand new car, but was offered a demo car without any declaration, the car has 2 scratches at back bump, heavy dust in sun roof and back truck areas. They did not present any new car, and didn't provide any chance for driving test before working on paperwork. Everything is cheating. The sales manager is most tough person: rude attitude, discriminating, lying, cheating...
