Everyone at Mossy Honda was super friendly, helpful, honest, and thorough. I spend the morning shopping around all the Honda dealers in the SD area, and Mossy had the best price. Jessica was an amazing help, and so was Kevin and the GM. They made sure our experience was painless and stress free. I couldn't be happier with my experience.
Mickey was great from Start to finish. He definitely helped with our decision and made it a smooth process in addition to the finance manager, Eddie and the General Manager Adel, with additional regards to Marcello and AlHall. Pros - great deal. Overall, with my decision. I love this car!!!!
Cons - The environment felt more like sales transaction. I didn't feel like my sales rep was for my best interest due to her word play. The sales rep kept saying "lets talk numbers". For example, as soon as I was done with my test drive, those were her first words. I would suggest something like, "so what do you think?". I don't think she asked me once about how I liked the car. The only reason why I was going to buy this car was because I've done extensive research and I knew this was a great deal. Also, her professionalism was sub par, as her language became a little too relaxed.. However, she was friendly and personable. She also didn't seem to know much about the vehicle..My best advise, practice her word play in her sales pitch.
BIGGEST CON: The financial guy - he was too pushy. When I havd to say no more than 7x (NO exaggeration) I began to get frustrated and the environment started to feel awkward than comfortable. I'm making a big financial decision, I shouldn't have to feel awkward by any means. When I said no to all my presented options; his facial expressions, delivery, and demeanor changed.. He was going to kill this sales transaction. His calculations were off which made me feel like he was lying. He offered Gap insurance around $775 to half the price to $66.. the fact it dropped so much is sketchy. I asked how he was able to bring it down and he said he could bring down my interest rate by almost a whole %. So, now I don't feel like the finance department is trying to help me find the best interest rate (even though this was said to me many times by the sales rep and financial guy). It made me wonder, should I go find other options? He mentioned my monthly payment would be the same IF I bought gap insurance. How does that make any sense from a financial stand point? I felt like that was a snake sales pitch. I didn't not trust anything from the point moving forward. When I drove away, I asked myself I hope I made a good decision? Nevertheless, I bought a great car. I shopped online so I was more flexible about making my decision. Thank goodness refinance is always an option too!
I was very pleased with the sales person. Mustafa was friendly, knowledgeable and highly professional. I would not hesitate to recommend him.
