Absolutely TERRIBLE. Took my 2008 Jeep Wrangler in to Lismore James Frizelles for a General Service, Brakes, Clutch and a bad noise coming from the rear. They had my vehicle for a long time with us calling on the regular asking what was going on and all we got told was "just waiting on parts". two weeks later they say we can come and get the car so we go down to pick it up and they said the bill was $4,554 but they hadn't started the paper work so we just gave them $2,000 cash and they said they would email us the invoice. Get my car back and drive it home only to realise they hadn't fixed the noise coming from the rear and on the following Monday we called them and told them they hadn't fixed it and they said "Oh ok we bring it in and take the mechanic for a drive and show him the noise". So i did and the mechanic acknowledged that the sound was still there so we gave it to them again with half a tank of fuel. 3 days later we got the car back and i drove down the road and the fuel light comes on and the fuel gave was on empty! With my car running unleaded 98 and they used half a tank that is roughly $70 worth of fuel. Soon also realised that they still had NOT fixed the noise coming from the rear so yet again took it back into them and took the mechanic for a drive again this time the noise a lot more apparent he took the car and called me the next day telling me it was my after market Exhaust causing the problem and that they wouldn't fix it because it was after market. So i took it straight to an exhaust shop upon leaving James Frizelles only for him to tell me that its not my Exhaust at all and i was for sure not taking it back to James Frizelles again so i just had to accept that i had lost $4,500. Anyway was heading to the GoldCoast and got half way there when the Check engine light comes on and this is the day after it came out of Frizelles workshop. So i call them up very upset because i had just payed $4,500 to get my jeep fixed only for it to have more issues then when i put it in and the lady says to me take it to Frizelles southport and get them to look at it and i said is this gonna cost me more money for stuff they you couldn't fix and she said no. I take it to Frizelles southport tell the bloke whats happened and he says to me on we can book you on Thursday and it will be $144 diagnostics fee. Like hell Im gonna pay $144 for you to fix what you caused.
The salesperson was transparent in all dealings. I and my kids were treated with respect and courtesy and the process felt welcoming. It did not feel like we were just another sale. All the other staff were also attentive and took the time to get to know us, which we valued.
I chose the dealer as I wanted to build a relationship with my local representative of the car I was buying, not just get the best price.
I felt they also saw the benefits of an ongoing customer relationship, not just a transaction.
I would highly recommend all the staff at northern river Jeep - from walk in thru demonstration to delivery. Dealing with the team was an enjoyable, relaxed and very positive experience and would have no hesitation in recommending any future car buyers to visit there showroom
David Mackney & the whole team at Frizelle's in Lismore couldn't have been more helpful.
David went above & beyond staying back on Saturday afternoon so that I could test drive the vehicle & complete the purchase details.
The service team completed the installation of tow bar & accessories along with the 1,000km check yesterday & again every effort was made to get it all done on time & fit in with my schedule.
So yes, I would thoroughly recommend Northern Rivers Jeep & I am now a very happy Jeep Wrangler owner!
Looking forward to getting out in the bush & putting my new machine to the test.
