The 30,000km service taken out was great. My only concern/comment is why the dashcameras need to be disconnected. When the service team take the cables out it takes a long time to boot the cameras back up and reconfigure my dashcams.
Not only that, but besides a small hidden sign advising the dashcams will be unplugged, I nor would anyone else know that their camera is unplugged (as my dashcam is hidden behind the revision mirror). So if I happen to be in an accident and unknowingly have my dashcam unplugged, my insurance company will have nothing to stand on. Not only that, but my policy states that the dash camera is functioning 24/7 (as it has a reserve battery), therefore unplugging my dashcam breaches my insurance contract.
Finally, the service advisor mentioned no reason as to why the cameras had to be unplugged. My prior service here I left a note saying "Please do not unplug dashcams" and there was no issue, but last Friday there was. Not only that, but I do not understand why it would need to be unplugged as there is a surveillance camera which is shown on a screen in the waiting bay, so what is the difference? Or is there something the service team at Phil Gilbert are hiding?
I had a very lovely experience with Danny as my car salesperson, with a great personality, he made me feel welcome, at ease and excited about starting the process of car shopping with him! A little out of my depth, Danny was trustworthy and able to show me honestly the ins and outs of what I needed to think about and do in order to drive out of there happy with my brand new car. After finding the whole learning experience pleasant and fun, thanks to Danny a week later I had my brand new shiny car!! I love it and continue to smile everyday driving it  Thanks Danny for making it all possible with my trade in and also to Sam too ????:red_car: I LOVE MY NEW CAR!!
Excellent experience. Very helpful, friendly and funny.
Excellent experience. The staff went above and beyond to help my wife get the car serviced while she was at home with the baby. They arranged a drop off service for her and even dropped the car back to her place after servicing.
It was lovely to encounter a car salesman who doesn’t judge and treat a female customer in a derogatory way. Prior to entering the dealer I had been to another dealer who mustn’t of thought I was serious or couldn’t afford it and therefore thought it unnecessary to approach me. Totally ignored!!! Well that was their loss. Avi came up to offer his assistant the minute we saw each other. He was very positive and professional and truely deserves his commission if not a bonus. Danny who handed over the car Was very professional and a happy go lucky sales person. Made the exchange very pleasant.
