To be honest. Was absolutely disgusted with the appalling service I received at Phil Gilbert service
Here are the reasons why
- I went to pick up my car at 4pm after work, and my car wasn’t ready till 4:45. I got there at 4:35.
I don’t understand why my car wasn’t ready even though I dropped it off at 7:40 am.
That’s not what upset me .
What upset me was I missed my neurologist appointment which was scheduled for 440. And I wasn’t able to drop off my partner to work on time.
I’m usually a very patient person, so I didn’t want to cause a scene at Phil Gilbert even though my blood was boiling. The part that upset me was I have to wait till the end ok February to see the neurology specialist.
The gentleman that served me in the morning did ask what time I will be picking my car up and said,
“ I’ll be here 4pm at the latest “
Really leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
What I recommend to improve your customer service skills is :
Have a worker that is always there at the counter to serve customers, I had to wait 5-8 mins because the workers were busy on there phones. And as they served us, they would pick up calls inbetween which makes us as the customers wait even longer. You’ve got to understand we all live different lives having different obligations and sometimes don’t have time to wait around.
Now I want to mention Joe mangano who was the one who served me. I honestly think why is Toyota reliable but there workers are from from that.
Here is why
- in between calls he’ll joke around with other workers whilst 9-10 customer are waiting inline.
- he’ll lie directly to your face . I saw my car being finished and parked. And had to wait another 10 mins to get my keys and joes reply was , “ the keys just came in. No it wasn’t , you just weren’t paying attention.
- I saw him numerous of times checking his phone for the time. Why don’t you check on your waiting customers
I honesty want to take this further up higher to Toyota because I was absolutely outraged and letter down by my once favourite car company .
