So I seen this 2010 Land Rover online that I was interested in on Car Guru so I like the price and everything so it was being sold by Prestige Auto so after reviewing the car and check in the car facts I went ahead and made the call I talked to the sales person by the name of Danny he was very polite and pleasant seem eager to help so the vehicles located in Corona California and I live in Louisiana so I told Danny I'll take a plane to pick up the vehicle he offered to pick me up at the airport as well but I already had a ride so that was great once I get to the dealership the process is very painless so I told Danny let's inspect the vehicle before I do anything else I kept asking about what service was done on a vehicle and it seems like you were stalling me out a lot so after going back and forth for about 15 minutes he came back with a paper and said all they did was an oil change on the vehicle since they had it but it has been inspected and it is Carfax certified I said okay fine I took it for a test drive and it was okay after purchasing the vehicle ice decided to hang around in California for a day just to see if the vehicle will be up for the drive to Louisiana since it was a day and a half away first thing I noticed when I tried to turn was the turning signal being broke soon as I try to use it it broke off wow I was very shocked by the being a Land Rover in all second thing I noticed the rearview mirror did not work since they were automatic and the third thing I noticed the passenger door did not lie so at this point I'm a little so the first thing I do is go back to the dealership pointing out all the problems not to mention the brakes was squeaking so loud that you would have think it was a rat inside of the car I went back to Danny and pointed out the bricks first he said he'll be fine with a little break spray on there I suggested that we change the brakes he didn't say anything after that so trying to address those real problem since I need the mirrors and it turning signals driving 24 hours didn't want to take the chances so after sitting in the dealership for a total of 10 hours no one asked me if I was okay if I needed a drink of water finally he came back and said we cannot fix these problems because our mechanics are not certified with Land Rover vehicles you think they would have told me that before letting me sit there all of that time as if I didn't have anything to do so at this point I was a little upset so Danny says how's the how's about we give you$500 to get all of these things fixed I asked him was he crazy how would that begin to be enough to fix all of those problems so he asked if I want to talk to his manager I said of course so the manager was very nonchalant and rude about the whole thing first thing he said was no sense the crowd was spoiled milk since this already happened let's try to get to the bulk of the problem I said what first thing is me sitting there for 12 hours and no one even acknowledging I was there so he nodded his head and said well I'm sorry about that I think this check will work for u I said in what world would 500$ work to fix all of these problems so I suggested thousand dollars to get started he laughed in my face and told me that will never happen so I begin to explain to him of my whole experience of being at the dealership and I terrible it was and how he was not providing great customer service at all it was a very terrible experience needless to say I went back and forth with this guy for at least 45 minutes before he said okay I'll give you $700 and then he made me sign a contract saying that the rest of the problems we're on me if that was not enough money very very terrible experience I would not advise anyone to ever go to this dealership again very tasteless especially from someone coming from all the way out of state to pick up a car what's not even second class service not to mention they use some type of glue to put on a turning signal and expect that I wouldn't notice before I drove away terrible
Was a great experience buying from Prestige Auto. Would highly recommend dealership. Curtis was very professional and took the time to give me all of my options and was never pushy. Highly recommended salesman!!!
