Recently I purchased a new RAV4 GXL pearl white and I noticed a small dent in the rear door (no paint scratches) which I think wascaused by another car door slamming into my RAV4 door in the parking are. I was very much upset to see the dent in a brand new car and I approached couple of toyota authorised body repair shops and they quoted exorbitant amount. I also found that Preston Toyota has a in house Body shop attached to the service area. I emailed Parvez (bodyshop manager) providing the details about the dent and asked him if they can organise to fix the same.
Parvez asked me to drop by so that he can see the dent before quoting the cost and time involved to fix it. I called Parvez on Friday around 4.30pm and asked him if he had time to look into the dent and provide some details around the time and cost involved to fix the same. He asked me to come over and by the time I reached Preston Toyota it was 4.51 pm and 5 pm was the closing time. Parvez waited for me and I was lucky enough to meet him. The dent person who was very helpful and customer oriented was heading home and Parvez asked him whether he can fix it on Monday. Instead of pusing it to Monday, he got off his car and looked at my car and said he can fix the dent within 10 mins without the need to paint the doors. I decided to come on Monday to get it fixed but these guys said we can fix it today if I can wait for 10 mins. I dont know how to react and I felt more relieved. The charges were way below compared to the quote provided by other repairers and got everything fixed within minutes. There was no sign of any dent on the door after it was fixed.
Parvez and the dent repairer were very much customer focussed and were keen to get this resolved for me. Preston Toyota have demonstrated their excellent customer service skils. I would definitely recommend all the toyota car owners to visit Preston Body Shop for any dent or repairs.
