Sales person was very helpful and friendly and did a good job on the sale of our trailer.
Unfortunately the manager was extremely lacking in his job/knowledge on selling trailers from the interest rate available, to financing fees, and calling to renegotiate price for options once all papers and payment for services was made. Upon pick up day, i called ahead before travelling into town to verify that the trailer was indeed ready for pickup. The manager confirmed that it was and all defficiency work as well as option work was completed. When i inspected the trailer there were multiple defficencies that were not complete due to awaiting parts as well as waiting for manufacturer to reply on how to correct some defficencies; this is after the pickup date was moved back a week to ensure all work was done prior to pickup.
Service tech was very knowledgeable in the operation and quirks that come with the trailer we purchased.
However, trailer was not properly detailed as promised (was purchased at a show). Someone had done a rough wipedown, however, window sills, cupboards, microwave, fridge, freezer, cabinets were all dirty from dust, sawdust, styrofoam, etc. There is also sticky black substance on the flooring. If this was the type of management and care that we are to expect from Rangeland in Red Deer we would have purchased a trailer elsewhere.
The sales experience was excellent. However, upon getting our new tent trailer home my husband noticed multiple issues, the most serious of which was a damaged travel door that someone had obviously tried to “fix” with silicon. It was a poor job, and he hadn’t noticed it when they went through the trailer with him at the dealership. He took pictures immediately and emailed the service department with the pictures (within 2 hours of having the trailer in our possession) and it’s been three days and we have had no response. He also left a voicemail message with the service department, and has heard nothing back. He “chatted” online with someone using the Rangeland website and also have heard nothing back.
We also were supposed to have 2 fans, however only found one in the trailer and it is damaged.
We really enjoyed our purchase experience until these issues came up and there has been no support or customer service offered.
