I found the salesman helpful but for this time of year would have liked to have been asked if I wanted the trailer winterised. I will be leaving it out for hunting some distance from my home and will have to winterise it soon as we have already had frost a couple of times. I found the orientation to be rushed. No one had checked if the trailer brakes actually worked during the orientation and when I came back to pick it up I initiated that they should be checked for operation. They initially were not working correctly! I then found that every person I spoke with had a different opinion of how the setting was to be set for the brake controller. A person from service came out and adjusted the brakes manually and both my dad and I thought he was setting them too tight. I decided that he should know what he was doing. However once on the highway I checked and the left side brake seemed to be very hot. I drove a little further and stopped without applying the brakes and confirmed that the left side was dragging too much and getting very hot. As I am a journeyman auto mechanic I jacked up the trailer and backed the left brake off a little and it was then fine for the rest of the trip home. These obviously were the reasons for my poor rating both for the orientation and service. I found the person who met with me after my orientation helpful in deciding if I needed a larger solar panel or not. Also the fellow (sorry did not get names) that ordered me the cover for the trailer also seemed to be knowledgeable but I had to delay my trip home to wait for the cover and wheel covers. I had asked over the phone whether a trailer cover was important and was told to just tarp it. Had I been told the benefits of a cover over the tarp and the importance of the wheel covers I would have had those ordered and ready for my arrival. I am pleased with the trailer but not sure if I would recommend the dealership.
