I had a different auto insurance carrier than Riley and I received my updated pricing for the upcoming policy. It was far higher than the month prior. I received a call from Ruthie out of the blue offerning to take my info and give me a quote. A day or so later, I received a quote which was significantly lower than my current auto insurance carrier. I was happy with this total and coverage I was receiving and therefore called to cancel my new policy with my current carrier which was set to automatically renew in a week. Upon calling my current (now former) insurance carrier, I was instructed that my rates went up because of tasks I neglected to do or was not instructed to do which could lower my rate. I expressed my disinterest to do these tasks, as I was happy with quote provided to me from Riley. However, I did as instructed so they would give me a quote which was accurate. Upon receiving this quote, it was still higher than Riley. Also, the customer service has been great with Riley. I feel comfortable having switched to Riley.
