Had done my research and joined a Facebook group (Hyundai iLoad owners) and had decided I was going to buy an iLoad to join my small fleet of 4 vans if the price was around what I was hoping for. Had been to robins Hyundai twice to check them out. As I am very busy I finally got a chance to go into showroom. Sat down with a young salesman (said he’d been there for 3 weeks which I was fine with). Sat down and told him what I wanted and he gave me a price off the internet that I had already done myself. He said he would see his manger to see how much better he could do. This is the part where I decided I wouldn’t buy a car off this dealership. Manager was busy filling photocopier with paper and I was introduced to him. We shook hands and all he could say was the manufacturer were doing some really good deals at the moment. He said this twice. The young salesman asked the manager did he have a minute to do some numbers for me. Managers abruptly said no???? We returned to young salesman’s desk where he took my name phone and email and wrote them on a post it note!!!!!!! Said he would get back to me with their best price. Well I guess a gust of wind must have blown my details off the desk and into the bin as I am yet to hear anything from Robina Hyundai. The young salesman was polite and friendly but couldn’t do a thing without his manager. The managers attitude was arrogant to say the least. If he had said give me 10 or 20 mins that would have been fine but to basically say No I can’t sell you a car right now?? I was disgusted with Robina Hyundai and the manager. I have since been advised by Toyota that my Hiace will be ready to collect on Monday.
