My experience at this dealership was abysmal. I was offered a car that did not exist from a True Car inquiry. When I came in to look at the car, I was told that they needed to 'bring it in from the port'. I found out a few moments later that it indeed did not exist at all in the package I was offered. The sales manager, Sal, was rude and verbally abusive to both myself and my girlfriend, even using profanity in a diatribe about how I was going to mess up the deal (He did not use the word mess, however).
I began the process very understanding, willing to negotiate a middle ground on the car they did have access to but once I made the deal, Sal denied it out of hand.
I felt for Al, the salesman, and tried to make a used car deal with him; but the finance person told me that he had finance offers that evening; but when I called back more than 16 hours later (he did not contact me at all), I was told that they had no financing available unless I put down in excess of 4 thousand dollars, despite having a credit score in the high 600's.
I went to Gateway Kia instead and had an experience that was like night and day. I ended up buying a new 2018 car from them with no issues with financing at all. This dealership is a bait and switch shop that should be avoided at all costs. Their staff is sorely lacking in basic customer service skills and Sal especially reflects very poorly on the dealership as a whole. I almost did not do business with Kia at all due to my experience; thank goodness for Gateway.
Best car purchase experience ever. Everything was handled very professional. From salesman Lion, very knowledgeable and experienced, he explained everything about the car and car features. Thanks sales manager Sal for making purchase so easy and professional and Jimmy in the finance department was great experience very calm and explained everything in detail all the documents.
I will definitely come me back to your dealership and I will with confidence refer my family and friends.
