I had an excellent buying experience.
Paul was a pretty amazing sales person. I operate a small business and really enjoy analyzing how others run their business. We went to all three audi dealerships in the Pittsburgh area and I must say that Paul, along with Jason, stood out to me as the best. I asked them a ton of questions about the business simply because I was shocked how professional and well rounded the two of them were. Not to say that a car salesman and manager is a bad job, but I was shocked by their intelligence and communication. Both Paul and Jason stayed with us until 10PM on a Monday working out a deal. They probably had the hand money and papers signed by 9PM, however, spent an additional hour with us just chatting. They were again there with a smile on their face the next morning. I believe Paul has a really bright future in sales. The only concern that I have is that he may be overqualified and turn to medical sales or maybe real estate.
We came in looking for a pre-owned car under $30K, however, we left with a car that listed for $45K because we felt like it was a great deal. We leased, however, we plan on buying the A4 at the end as long as no major problems with the car start to show over the next 42 months. I do not compliment many people, but Paul and Jason stood out to me as very relatable, fun, and helpful. They are going to sell a lot of cars for Audi if you keep them there.
Our one bad experience came with the financing guy. My fiancée and my name were going to be on car. We wanted her name first, but it didn’t really matter too much to us. The finance guy ran it that way and I had good credit, but hers came back with having no credit. It put us in the D grouping, which was $50 more per month. I asked to look at the credit scores and got Jason involved. Jason and I suggested that we put my name first and see what happens. It took us from “D” to “A” and it all worked out. However, it really pissed me off that when I came in we were given the news that our credit was not that good. The finance guy doesn’t have too many jobs I imagine and all he had to do was take 30 seconds to analyze the problem and suggest that my name is first. If I had to pay the $50 a month extra I would have walked out and not made the deal happen and been extremely upset. He either did not take 30 seconds to analyze the problem or does not have the brain capacity to realize that suggesting my name first puts us in a different tier. I worked hours with Jason and Paul to make this deal happen and the guy in financing can’t put a minute of critical thought into the deal. Luckily Jason was there and a solution was quickly in the works.
Overall Paul and Jason are a great team and I hope they are there next time we are in the market for a car. Absolutely great experience and wish both of them the best of luck going forward. We had a lot of choices, but Paul and Jason made the deal happen. THANK YOU
