I went to Stretch Physical Therapy with a painful & limited range of motion in my left shoulder. ( I had a surgical proceedure in 2002). I have been able to workout & manage most daily activites
without much difficulty, until I started training for a bodybuilding competition. The added stress & increased weight, developed poor mechanics & resulting painful condition. The staff at Stretch
did a complete evaluation & developed a complete program of strecthing & exercises to re-establish range of motion & strength.
after 6 weeks I can see marked improvement !! I'm continuing my program & now able to return to training for the upcoming competition.
I can't thank Stretch Physical Therapy enough.
I have had pain when I sit for over a year due to hamstring issues; I started PT after pulling a hamstring on a run which made sitting and walking even more uncomfortable than it already was. After the 5th visit, I noticed for the first time in a year that I was able to sit "pain free" on my 45 minute drive to work and throughout the majority of the work day without pain or without the need to shift my weight off of one side. My flexibility has improved as well as my running pace (bonus!) I'm so glad someone in my running group suggested I come to Stretch PT!
I've gone through 5 weeks of PT at Stretch, twice visits per week. In that time I've made great progress on my foot, ankle and lower leg pain.
I came to Stretch due to being in constant pain doing what I love, Running. Stacey quickly diagnosed my alignment issues and got me started with stability and strengthening exercises for home.
On my visits they work on my flexibility, plantars fasciaitis as well as other things.
I'm now on the road to running with better form and without pain. I'd highly recommend them for both treatment as well as preventative help.
Thanks to Kim and her entire crew. A+ facility and staff.
When I began my treatment regimen I was in significant discomfort. I was provided EXCELLENT care with an exercise program designed to strength my inner core. The work is only as good as you want it to be. The encouragement of Kim and her staff is a HUGE plus to be able to manage the program. This encouragement is essential to maintain the strength and belief in yourself through the discomfort . You need a complete team between your Primary Care provider , a pain management specialist and the Stretch Physical Therapy TEAM. The word **** TEAM **** Is critical to your success. Without TEAMWORK the process will be so much more difficult. Their encouragement is critical to your success.
I now have a partner for life , that whenever I need an extra push to deal with this discomfort you must work with Kim
This testimony is to tell how pleased and satisfied I am with the results of the physical therapy that Stretch therapy provided to my son.
Stacey Harris worked very close with my son to make him feel better in a short period of time. When we walked in for the first time, she evaluated him and provided all the exercises for his neck to get better quickly and for his posture to improve. Week by week we could see that he was improving and he enjoyed every section during his treatment.
I am greatly appreciated with the efforts that Stacey put towards my son and the accomplishment.
Stretch is to be complimented in having such wonderful professionals to work with you when you most need.
I was diagnosed with frozen shoulder and ordered to do six weeks of physical therapy. This was my first experience with PT and I am glad that I chose Stretch. The staff is awesome, they explained everything and answered all of my questions. After a couple of weeks of sessions with Stacey and Kim my pain had decreased alot, I went from a pain level of a 9 down to a 6. I am in my fifth week now and I am amazed at how much range of motion that I've gotten back. I would definetly recommend Stretch Physical Therapy to anyone.
I started working with Stacy and Kim on my shoulder issue in mid-December. At that time I as unable to lift my left arm without pain and tightness in the shoulder. Stacy quickly ID'ed the issue and between the hands on PT where they worked the affected area with mobility, exercise, and hands on PT. I experienced improvements that I had not had in the past year in that shoulder. Other PT's had given me some stretches that did nothing. I think the thing that separates Stretch is the hands on therapy they provide. I have no doubt that is the reason my shoulder now feel great. Very impressed with the staff and the methods used at Stretch. I would recommend to anyone.
After 48 years of life, I recently learned that I have congenital right hip dysplasia. So, basically, my hip has been deteriorating since birth and this past year, it has really let me know that it has reached a tipping point. In November 2015, I returned to Stretch Physical Therapy for my second round of therapy to strengthen that hip. From January through February 2016, I took advantage of the one-on-one stretching sessions at Stretch for my tight right leg/hip muscles. Both the second round of therapy and recent stretching sessions, along with home stretching exercises, have aided me in regaining strength and mobility in my right hip. I still have limited range of motion with my right hip, but that is a function of the congenital condition. A hip replacement is in my future, but thankfully, the staff at Stretch Physical Therapy has set me on the path and provided me with some tools to delay the inevitable for years (hopefully) to come! Thank you, ladies!
