Chris was great. Lovely to deal with. Although Chris has organised another set, car came without manual & logbooks. Also, confusion with the Registration! Was abit of a shock when after a week of owning the Car, Rego was due. Anyway, still loving the Car & appreciate what Chris has done for us.
We had issues with delivery that weren’t our salesman or dealerships fault. We had been told the car was in stock and days away from the start, but it seemingly never left the yard where it was. So our salesman had to go and physically pick it up for us as we had time constraints for pickup pending. We love the car but we were really disappointed with the process.
Appreciate the effort the salesman put in but he shouldn’t have to do that. We had to accept our car unfinished due to this. Our window tint isn’t done.
Overall we are happy enough but it was a bit of a mess.
The experience with Chris and the rest of the team was pleasant and efficient.
The one thing that was disappointing was having to wait for the car for 11 days and not knowing for most of that time when we would get it. We were renting a car and living in NSW so it was inconvenient and more expense than we had expected given it was a white, standard vehicle. I suggest greater honesty upfront with customers about delivery waits.
Overall it was a good experience in that I gained a new car relatively quickly and smoothly. However, the sales person I dealt with seemed uncertain on the information he was delivering me. It was quite confusing and resulted in me pulling up the XV brochure to identify which model offered what benefits and features. The person I dealt with for accessories was a little too pushy for purchasing certain extras. It was clear she was displeased and disinterested once I said no to accessories I didn’t think I required and/or couldn’t afford - coming across unprofessional from a customer care manager. Communication between sales, finance and customer care could be improved. The lack of communication required me having to call each individual to find out progress on my vehicle and understand what was included in my contract.
All-in-all it was a good experience though, and the finance and sales men I dealt with always greeted me with a friendly face - which was appreciated as it was my first time purchasing a new car.
Subaru Toowong provided a pleasant buying experience and I wasn't pressured into a sale. They upgraded me from a 2.0i to a 2.0L after i changed my mind after paying a deposit, and gave me a great EOFY deal, would recommend Hannes and Charlie
