Robert was a great salesman and treated me with the up most respect. When I gotten transferred to financial, it was that other individual who was disrespectful and pressuring me to buy coverages. Over all I got what I wanted. Please ask for Robert. He will take care of you.
Danny was professional, friendly and efficient. Delivery was supposed to happen today but failed. We were going to pick up the bike but was told it would be delivered same day since we were local. I’m going to be out of town until Friday. I wish we were told earlier and not right before closing that it was not going to be delivered. We would have picked it up ourselves. Disappointed.
Robert Baker was our sales person. He was great! What a pleasant attitude! He worked with us on the price, gave us a fair allowance for our trade in, worked around our schedule, and overall made the transaction really simple. When signing the final papers, everything was ready to go and it took less than 10 minutes! We drove from San Clemente to make this purchase, and I can see working with Temecula Motorsports again in the future!
I bought a 2016 Harley Road king with 6,600 miles on it. When I got it home I had to repair many things on the motorcycle which should have been fixed before I took delivery, after all they told me their mechanic went over the motorcycle with a safety inspection, that I played for . On my test ride I had some concerns about the Road King which I brought up to Rob my salesman and his reply was don't worry about it just ride it, it just needs to be ridden. Well the things I found when I got home are.
Secondary belt drive was out of adjustment, way too tight. Could have caused trans. Bearing damage.
Front attachment bolt on left floorboard was loose causing a bad rattle.
Right MUFFLER was misadjusted and rubbing against the rear axle causing the chrome to come off and cause vibration throughout the motorcycle.
Also the attachment MUFFLER bolts were too long causing them to dig holes into the bottom of both saddlebags.
The front brake rotors are warped causing unsteady braking.
The front auxiliary lights were out of adjustment too high causing oncoming vehicles to flash their lights at me.
The biggest concern of mine was the clutch. It was out of adjustment, too tight . It was not fully releasing causing the clutch plates to drag and burn. When I drained the primary fluid it was black and smelled burned. After I changed the fluid and adjusted the clutches I drained the fluid after putting on 300 miles. The fluid was still dirty and you can smell the burn smell coming from the clutch pack. I will probably have to take the primary cover off and replace the clutch plates.
So that's my experience with buying a motorcycle at Temecula Motorsports. Oh , and my salesman Rob said he would get me an owners manual for my Road King and here it is one month later and I haven't heard a word from the dealership. I'm just glad I know how to work on motorcycles because if I didn't and just rode it like I was told I WOULD HAVE BEEN IN BIG TROUBLE. Thanks for listening.
PS. The Honda I traded in with 9,000 miles was in perfect shape with all services up to date .
