We purchased a house in NY while living in Canada. Melinda Countryman was exceptional, making this transaction a breeze. She is everything you need to move forward in the purchase or sale of your house! I found her to be a truly honest person who puts her clients first! I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a knowledgeable agent with your interests at heart.
We are happy with the house she found for us and will always choose her in any future real estate needs!!
Follow up poor. Listing pic very limited . After a few months I get email asking “ are you still interested in...”. No hi, or good morning. Typical of x lot of realtors in north country. Strong sales market creates lazy agents.
I am sorry you feel this way. This does not sound like any of my agents. Regarding listing pictures, we have professional photos taken on most listings and unless the listing is vacant land, we have 35 photos, the maximum amount allowed by our MLS. We also do Matterport 3 D tours on many of our listings. What you may not realize is that when you are on a website of a particular agency, that website has all of the other participating members listings on their sites. For example, if you are on ABC Realty's website and see a listing with no photos or poor photos, that listing may actually be XYZ Realty's listing. I can say with certainty that our listings have great and numerous photos. Regarding the email that you said you received, I can't imagine any one of my agents sending an email without a greeting. As a Realtor that works 7 days a week with a true commitment to my customers and clients, I can attest to the fact that we are not lazy. I have an office filled with what I consider to be some of the best agents in Jefferson County all with a very strong work ethic. I would love to have a conversation with you to try to clarify and rectify your concerns. You can reach me at 315-686-5500. Please ask for Melanie.
Melanie Curley went the extra mile and got my house sold. She is dedicated and knowledgeable; it was a pleasure to work with her. I lived in a area where the market was soft, but Melanie loves a challenge and she didn't let anything stop her from getting the sale made. And the buyers are ecstatic as well.
Thanks Drina; it was a pleasure working with you and great fun to market and sell such a beautiful home.
Melanie was very attentive to our needs being our property was over two hours away from home. She was very detailed and she knows what she is doing. I would recommend her highly to friends and anyone buying or selling a property in that area.
Thanks for the great review. It was a pleasure working with you!
My husband and I had a unique situation with selling our home. It was the first house we’ve bought, and we got some news that led to us having to sell the home. We had only owned the home for a few months and we were turned down by another realty company, stating it was not possible to sell our home. We reached out to Melanie and she told us up front it was going to be hard to do, but not impossible. She told us that she couldn’t promise the sale of our home but, that she would try everything she could to help. She sure did that and more. Every question and concern we had, she helped answer. She made this experience as least stressful as she could. Within the first week our home was listed we had an offer, and that turned to a buyer. Melanie was so nice and caring about our home. She 100% puts her heart into her business and job. This company is not one to just make a sale, they HELP their customers to get the perfect home, or to sell their home to the best of their ability. If you’re looking for someone to help sell, or help you buy a home definitely choose Weichert. They put their heart and soul into everything they do. They make sure you’re doing exactly what is right and what is best for you.
Eileen Kaleel was great. Due to the overall distance we had to travel we had several last minute appointments with Eileen, every time Eileen made it possible. We were never handed off or made to feel like it was an inconvenience. Thank you Eileen.
